This christmas we're going to be driving a Rickshaw about 3500km from the southern tip of India to the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu in aid of the Mercy Corps and we've got 2 weeks to do it!

(DG) Driving through the small villages on some of the back roads has been fun. People seem a little unsure at first but give anyone a wave and they flash you a big smile and wave back. Seeing the girls in brightly coloured saris everywhere looks amazing and makes for great pics. Only ever seems to be the men that we end up talking to in the towns. Maybe just an etiquette thing that the women keep themselves to themselves?
No one seems out to rip us off. Apart from the guy at the state border there, but we soon sorted him out!! We should arrive in Bijapur shortly for the night then get to Hampi tomorrow. Favourite meals so far? Dhal Fry at the roadside truck stops !!!@
